Homebound Delivery Services
What is homebound delivery?
The Berlin-Peck Memorial Library offers volunteer delivery services to Berlin residents who are homebound, temporarily or permanently, because of illness, disability or advanced age.
- A staff member will assist with the selection of materials.
- The staff member will then call a volunteer.
- The volunteer will be given the resident’s telephone number and address and will call to arrange a convenient time for delivery and/or pickup.
Can I receive homebound deliveries?
- Deliveries will only be made to Berlin/Kensington addresses.
- Homebound patrons must have a current Berlin library card. Applications can be mailed to residents who do not have a card.
What materials can I borrow?
All circulating library materials may be delivered. These include books, music, magazines, audiobooks, DVDs or large print books.
