Linda was born in New Britain but grew up in Berlin. She was a 1969 graduate of Berlin High School. She received a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Eastern Connecticut State College in 1983 and was employed by the State of Connecticut as a Microbiologist at the Department of Health Services in Hartford. Linda lived the last six years of her life in Hebron, CT. She died at age 34 at the home of her parents. She was survived by Frank Madone, her "beloved with whom she made her home"; her parents Dr. Bovee and Ina Bovee, of Berlin; her brother and his wife, Barton and Donna [Stapleton] Bovee of Berlin; her two sisters and their husbands, Susan and Matthew Alaimo of Enfield and Peggy and Jerome Maas of Willington; and two nieces, Courtney and Kaitlyn Bovee, of Berlin. Farrell Funeral Home, New Britain was in charge of arrangements. A Memorial Service was held at Trinity Methodist Church, New Britain. Memorial Donations to the Harry Gray Cancer Center at Hartford Hospital or to the Southington VNA Hospice, Southington.
